I know there's probably a form on this already but I haven't found it, so my cars starter went a few weeks ago (no biggie) after a few test I found that the solenoid was shot, I went to town bought a new one and put everything back together, after 3 days the starter seized up (no problem just a bit aggravating). So yesterday I went and ordered a brand new starter today I picked it up and installed it on my car and within 3 hours of that the starter burnt out ( I had a bunch of running around to do so I probably started the car 15-20 times). Any idea what's going on ie: bad luck with getting ****ty parts or something electrical?

If the starters are anything but Motorcraft, then yes, they are rubbish. The LSes electrical system doesn't play well with aftermarket parts....

id check your wires really well. look for a short or something loose, especially a ground wire.

most things that bolt directly to the engine don't have ground wires, the engine block itself is the ground...

its been a while, but I thought the LS's starter only had two wires, main power in and the trigger wire for the solenoid.

definitely kinda weird going through thee that fast... whee and what band are you buying?
