The other day I was driving and smelled an electrical burning smell then my
climate control console went completely dead. Any ideas on how to replace it? I've seen a few for sale on Ebay. Not sure what fuses are connected to this problem. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Fuses are:
#16 under the hood, 30A
#14 in the cabin, 5A
#20 in the cabin, 10A
#1 under the hood, 10A
#7 in the cabin, 5A
#11 under the hood, 15A

To change the DATC out:
Remove the trim around the ashtray and the shifter (just pulls out, will have to bend it some).
Remove the center dash vents /w message center buttons (just pulls straight out).
Remove the ashtray (two screws and two bolts).
Remove two bolts under the DATC.
Remove two bolts over the radio.
Pull out the radio and DATC as an assembly. Unplug all the connectors.
Now you can separate the DATC from the radio.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'll check all those fuses first then I'll let you know how I made out.

Just be aware a blown fuse is a by product of an issue upstream. Never upsize a constantly blowing fuse.

We know fuses to be protective devices for too-high amperages/voltages in wiring and electrical components.
