So ever since I took my Ls in to have the rear brakes replaced(aka car being lifted in air), my rear end will bottom out if i either go over a bump larger than a crack, or i have 1 or more people sitting in the back seat... At first it felt as if I would just tap on the brake when i went over a bump, until I put 2 passengers in the back seat, and my rear tires were rubbing in the wheel well for a couple minutes! The burning rubber was quite the indication of that! I have not taken it in yet to get looked at, but my question is, are my shocks bad, or my springs?? When I do the standard "push down on the trunk" test, the shocks appear to still be very "tight", and the car doesnt bounce once?? Please give me your thoughts.....
Thanks

Broken spring maybe. You can easily take off the shocks to check out the springs.

going to have to take it in, or get under it and take a look. best guess with out seeing anything would be shock/spring related, but if something was damaged, god only knows whats going on

Your somewhat local your more than welcome to stop by and we can put it up on stands in my garage and check it out.
