i have a 2003 lincoln ls v6 thats is stalling and throwing codes p0606 p1235 and p2107 i have had the throttle body changed with no difference i replaced all six coils and plugs and still same thing. I was told it could be pcm if so are these all interchangable and how do i know which ones fit if not please help i stumped thanks for your time:)

Usually, when p0606 comes up, the PCM actually is bad and needs to be replaced. No, they are not all interchangeable.

Note that you will need a dealer (or a really good scan tool) to marry the replacement PCM to the cluster (PATS) and your keys. Until you do, you will not be able to start the car at all. You will need to take all your keys with you to do this. If you only have one key, you will have to buy another one. There is no way to do this without at least two keys.

i have all the keys as well as somone at ford with the scan tool. Now how do i go about buying the pcm do i just go by year and motor or is there specific types? thanks again for reply

pcm

i have 2 keys as well as a friend from ford that bcould get the scanner. now how do i go about buying the pcm does it go by year and engine or is there specififc id numbers to go by? thanks again for your time:)

Best bet is to get an '03 V6 PCM. Next best would be '04 V6. Your Ford buddy should be able to look up part numbers and see if they are the same. It may be configurable by the STAR tool, or may be flashed at manufacture time - I don't know.
For a replacement, I'd recommend calling junkyards or using eBay.

i found an 03 ls v6 pcm on ebay so will that work it just has to be same year and motor correct?
