I had a 2000 ls and then a 2002 ls and now I am ready to have another. what is the difference between the 03 and up. Why does it make more power and get better MPG?

There were over 500 changes, all of them good. The better mpg is due to VVT. I have a 2000 and a 2006. I may sell my 2000 to my daughter and would need a new car. My first choice is an '03-'06 LS. Depends on price and mileage.

VVT?

can't drift with the EEB, can you? I know my LS can drift with the 1st gen e-brake

Sorry, Repete. No drifting with the stock open diff. Put in a limited slip diff if you want to drift. Although you're goingto need some more power too.

Damn....and I was so looking foreward to drifting at the track this summer. Owell...I can still be ballin' in the city, HAHA

my favorite changes from my 1stgen to my 2ndgen are, you can control the level on the heated seats, cooled seats, a way bigger center console (well worth going to an electric emergency brake) auto UP and down window switches on BOTH FRONT windows, puddle lamps.
