I'm new to this site, and also new to the LS world, I've owned nothing but mustangs my whole life, and wanted something different, anyways, I just started a few small things on my 02 LSE, recentley added, Intake, rims, navigation/DVD screen, chrome pillars, just these over the last weeks or so. Anyways my question is??? what kind of exhaust can I put on this car that will give me that mustang rumble, but without spending the 7-800 dollars for the kit on Ebay, or LS koncepts. Id like to spend no more than 300 honeslty cause thats what i use to get the catback systems for on my mustangs. also any other bolt on mods that are reletivly cheap and easy for the time being.
Where can I get chrome door handles?????

Thanks,

Alot of people tell me my LS sounds like a mustang. i have my own custom....not a kit.
3" catback with an X pipe and straight pipe after that (no resonators or mufflers)

where did u get the parts, do u have install, instructions, im new to the whole, doing my own work thing

Um, when he said "custom" that meant there were no "parts" to order. His exhaust was created especially for his car. Kinda like going to Burger King. They don't make it until you order.

Any decent muffler shop can do the work. Shop around before you choose one.

lol yeah what he said.
I got the SS X pipe on ebay but everything else they had at a local muffler shop where i had it done.

got any pics of the finished product id like to see it. sounds like a nice setup

I never thought to take any bottom side pics after install but you can see the tips out back on some of my pics. I do have a pic of the X pipe before install....

What size are the pipes on the X-Pipe, and what size are the cat- outlets

I don't recall what the stock pipe is. the X is sized for 3" pipe
Just talk to the guys at your local muffler shop and they should have everything needed to expand/adapt to whatever size you want.
As far as i know i'm the only one with 3" exhaust but i may be mistaken.

I wanted to save some money so I unbolted my stock cat back at home and took the car and X pipe to the shop and told them what i wanted.

Just for reference, H pipe gives deeper tone and X pipe gives higher tone helping higher up in the power band.. H pipe gives more torque. Oh course, it all depends on the size of pipe you're using. If you want to spend next to nothing, just cut the mufflers off.. This is what I did and spent (when it was all said and done) less than 50 bucks.. It sounds pretty good I think. I kept my res. on there, chopped the mufflers off, and clamped some pipe with 90s at the ends. :D
