2001 LS V8- CD Player Non-Alpine

I'm not sure if this is the right place to place this, I am new here. I'm looking for an original 6 CD changer player for my 2001 LS V8. The only ones I see for sale are the Alpine ones and from what I'm told I can;t put that into my car unless I have the audiophile package and I don't. (correct me if I'm wrong).

So Does anyone have a 6 cd changer unit that is non-magazine and non-alpine player that works well that they would sell me?

i would stay away from the in-dash 6 disc players, they have the most problems of any of the ford radio's, they always seem to jam up or have mechanical errors

if your going to spend the coin on a new radio, i would just buy an aftermarket unit, there a lot more reliable

I agree, but I hate the look of an aftermarket one. I want it to look and match the rest of my car.
