What all does this detail? For instance does it include changing the timing chain?

As shown in the third photo which denotes the table of contents and covers all the mechanical systems in the car. So yes it gives the full coverage on the engine repair procedures both in-vehicle and once removed from the vehicle. V8 timing drive components - primary starts on page #303-01B-59 and secondary starts on page #303-01B-71.

For the 2001 manuals Volume II (not included) covers Electrical systems as well as Body and Paint
