2000 V8 Vs. 2001 V8

My question is, is there any difference in power between 2000 V8 and the 01 V8? I know that the 01 has different transmision number and was wondering if there any big differences.

I think 2000 and 2001 were basically the same except for a few minor kinks worked out in design like all cars after a year. I think something with the 2002's bumped the hp closer to 260. Wait for Ken to chime in.

I'm fairly certain that the '00 and '01 both have a 5R55N tranny. I think there are some differences between the '00 and '01--for example, IIRC, there's a difference in the ball joints between the two, with the '01s having revised parts to correct problems with those on the '00 models.

The big differences are between '02 and '03, FWIW.
