2000 LS V8. Air Bags deployed, replaced both, need help before I hook up battery

Daughter had fender bender and both air bags deployed. I have replaced both air bags but have not hooked up the battery yet. Need to know if I need to reset or replace any sensors before I hook up the battery. Do not want the air bags to deploy by accident. HELP!!

Get the car to a good shop before attaching the connectors to the airbag. A decent shop should have the correct scanner to reset the airbag module. As far as sensors go, not too sure.

I'm pretty sure the sensors are one use only as well. Even if they aren't I would replace any sensors within the impact area. You don't want to chance your daughter's life over a couple of bucks.

I believe there should be a crash sensor on the bumper. When my camry got rear-ended, there was a sensor inside the bumper cover that will get crushed if there's a major impact.
