Hey guys,

Ive posted a few help threads and Ive gotten really good answers so far. Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it. I have been going through this car, 1 piece at a time and I had a CEL Flashing. When I brought it in, it told me cyl 2 was misfiring. So I got a new Coil and Plug and it fixed the issue. The car no longer hesitated while under throttle. Now, however, the car still runs rough at idle. Pulled CEL again and it says cyl 6 and 7 misfire. Im assuming I should just do the same thing, but why is it that it doesnt really hesitate under throttle and not give me a flashing CEL if they are also misfiring?

Thank you all for you help!

Steve

If financially feasible, replace all plugs and coils at the same time. Just because you got the flashing cel before means that is what you should expect everytime. It is not always going to be that way(flashing). Also, the longer you drive with it in that condition, the chances of damaging the catalytic converters increases.

Might as well do your valve cover gaskets too. With the coils out you're half way there. If there is any oil in the plug wells you need new gaskets.

Weird. I didn't make a post here, made it elsewhere and it showed here. If anyone has admin rights feel free to delete this post.
