2000 Ls exhaust tips

I have a 00' v6. Dont know if you can just buy tips and install them because the mufflers factory are pointed downwards......look under your car. You should not have to cut the valence however once you do figure out how to put tips on, they should fit under no problem. As to where to get tips, you can buy them at autozone (if absolutely necessary) or online. If this didnt help, disregard.

thats not a 2000 OR a v6 but none the less, exhaust tips are exhaust tips. You just find the right size and put it on...

Um, that doesn't matter in his case, 00-02 is the exact same body and both V6/8 have dual exhaust, your post is worthless.

on my car the curved ends to the exhaust were cut off and 45 degree extensions were attached a little higher up on the pipes, bringing them down and outside of the bumper. then 3" magnaflow rounded tips on the end of those.
I just bought camthman's magnaflows with straight tips. Once they get here, I'll take some pics if you like. I'll most likely have to trim just the lower black valance. I haven't gotten under there to be sure, but I think that should be all I'll need to do.

My bad didn't know, the guys post doesnt say anything about being a 02, I thought it was a later model than that... thanks for being a butt-nugget about it.
My post still remains. Tips are tips... find some that are the right size and make them work.

Doesn't need to say anything about it being any year. It's pretty obvious it's a Gen I car.
And no problem.
I have the Magnaflow cat-back on my '00 V6 with Magnaflow oval tips. My muffler guy cut off the "stock" down turns and welded on the tips. I did have to trim the valance with Mr. Dremel, but it wasn't a big deal.
