2000 Lincoln LS V8 not starting/clunking when trying

You need to hook it to a code reader and come back and post any codes that it has. Its hard to diagnose what it is with clunking sputtering and it dies lol that could be a whole bunch of things. I will still take a shot at it with the info you've given cause i always love a challenge! I would check and clean my mass airflow sensor really good then let it dry and then try to start it. If its still soaking wet when you try to start it, it can cause those tiny wires to burn into. So If cleaning the MAF doesn't help i would put a code reader on it that way you're not just throwing parts an money on it for no reason.

Forget the phone videos. They don't help.
Get the codes as posted above.

As a first step how old is the battery? These cars are picky about full voltage.
Next step when was the fuel filter last changed?
Do you have any fuel pressure? What is it?

Brand new battery, it died though, still having the same issue with the battery charged up though. Fuel pump does need replacing due to my fuel level sensor not working properly( fuel gauge doesn’t work). I’m getting a reader to pull the codes this afternoon so those will be posted around 4:30

Since you're guage isn't working are you absolutely sure it's got plenty of gas in it? It's easy to overlook with a non functioning guage.

it didn’t give me any codes

Ok It's got fuel in the tank and doing the same thing with a charged up battery and now that it's not showing any codes my first thought would be to start checking things like @clubairth mentioned i would check my fuel filter to make sure its not stopped up. If you can easily blow air through it its not stopped up if its impossible to blow air through it then its stopped up replace it and try to start the car. If its not stopped up then while you have the fuel filter off lay a piece of cardboard down or maybe something to catch a small amount of fuel, have someone turn the key on and off just long enough to give the fuel pump enough time to prime up while you watch under the car and see if fuel comes out of the line where you took the filter off. It should put out a decent amount of fuel. If fuel comes out you'll know for sure the fuel pump its pumping fuel. Ive seen vehicles do some weird things before. So after you check the fuel filter an fuel pump and you know for sure its getting fuel up to the fuel filter i would check my catlytic convertor next to make sure its not clogged up to the point its choking the engine off and not allowing it to start. You can try taking the 02 sensor out and try to start it and if it cranks then you'll know you need to replace the convertor. If it cranks it'll run rough with the 02 sensor out but that'll let you know the cats stopped up. These are just a few things you can check yourself that doesn't cost you any money. Hopefully you'll get lucky and the problem will show itself when you do these things. When you get done come back and post what happens, what didn't happen and then we will go further to try to help solve you're problem.Good Luck!

And try cleaning that mass airflow sensor too. It should have thrown a code but like i said i have seen some weird things before so a bad or dirty MAF sensor and no code wouldn't surprise me at all.

Gonna check that when I get home from work. I cleaned the MAF sensor, just left it to dry so I’m going to be putting that back in aswell.

Alright and like i said if any of that doesn't solve what you have going on post back and i will do my best to help you from there.

And it sounds like your starter may be bad. Either that, or the engine is tied up. Put a socket and ratchet on the bottom pulley and see if the pulley will rotate.

If it does...your starter is probably bad.
