2000 center console lights

I was wondering if any one can tell me if the shifter in the console lights up (P r N D)? and if so how do you change the bulb? Thanks in advance

They can be replaced. It is a pretty straight forward process IIRC. I found the write up of how to do it on this site. I don't have a copy or link though.

I haven't done it yet either. It hasn't bothered me enough yet to pull the console.
