ive been a fan of the ls since it came out and i finally got 2 purchase one ..

this is where the problems began ...the front passenger side seems to make a creeking noise like old wood in a house when i brake and accelerate and turn the wheel at a stand still sounds like a spring or maybe a strut mount has any1 else ever had this and if yes please how do i get it taken care of im a big do it myself person

second issue ...tranny sounds like its a fu*kin deisle ...its quiet in park but in drive and reverse (mostly drive) it sounds like a deisle motor wtf is tht about

3rd issue i want to know if the factory navi out of the 03 ls will fit into my 2002 and if not whats the best indash to use

also has any1 ever converted a auto ls to a stick this is sumthin im interested in trying i have a bet going on wit these honda guys in my area that i can build a 500+ whp ls

Well the sound could be anything from your brakes to you stabilizers. Many guys on here have rebuilt the frontend trying to fing the noise. On that one I say good luck. Cant help you with the tranny other than that doesnt sound good. For the 500 hp LS, Sorry to inform you, but no one makes enough aftermarket engine mods for the 3.9L. Intake, exhaust, filter, and SCT are pretty much your only performance mods. I think they put you a little above 300hp. Quik LS is the only LS that is supercharged. One guy tried turbo, but it never worked out.

You picked the wrong car to bet with unless you have the money and means to fabricate the parts needed to swap a 5 speed into a V8 LS, nevermind making 500 horsepower. I had a 400 RWHP Mark VII, and while it was mostly bolt-on Mustang parts, it wasn't cheap.

Anyhow, welcome aboard. Where in Brooklyn are you? I'm there often since my girlfriend lives there.

i saw a guy on car domain who turbo his ls unless those were fake pics ...but the tranny noise still there after i took it 2 lincoln and got a complete overhaul of the tranny its crazyyy ...and i heard they make a new replacement bar for the ls becuz the bushings go bad easy ...do you know where i can get the bar or stronger bushings

Good luck with that. I think you may lose that bet. The 2002 LS has something like 252hp (I'm assuming you have a V8) and then the mods - Xcal2, CAI, exhaust... With all that, maybe pushing close to 280+hp. My figures may be off and someone will correct me. But 500+..... No way.

But then again, you're talking with Honda folks. So I'm assuming the 500+hp is from the stickers and "Type R badges".

I'm no help at all. With my '06 (check my sig for mods), I still need to add all my stickers to get close to only 400hp.

im in canarsie...easy to find me only young kid who knows anything about the ls but i have the v6 not the v8 i dont think tha 8 comes in manual does it ...well thanks i dont think they have a dyno to test my real whp anyway so as long as its fast enough to put it 2 one of those pocket rockets

no every feed back is help so thanks ...all my honda friends have built motors i sud kno i helped build um ..but when it comes to american cars im some what at a loss ...i jus want a decent ls i rather the sporty look and feel because everyone else does 20's and tints and thats about it but about the swap can i put the V8 in the car if i have a V6 now or can i do the manual swap because i know u have to run a clutch line and put in the 3rd pedal but how would the computer and everythin work with the switch
