After many years of searching I found the vin of my parents old caddy! I found a picture of the license plate and then ran the plate and found the vin. The car was crushed in 2012. I was really hoping it was still around so I could buy it back.

Before it went to the junkyard I took off the wheel caps and the radio face. One of the caps are missing because it fell off whenever my mother was driving it. I still them to this day.

Had these pictures made. The Easter egg is that the license plate belonged to this car.

That's awesome. Keep those parts, especially since its sentimental.

The caps are probably worth a pretty penny. Especially if someone is restoring or updating and older STS of that vintage.

Very cool story, sorry to hear about the car's fate.

Thanks. I have the parts sitting in a safe spot in my closet. In a couple of years when I have more space I’m gonna try to find a exact spec Cadillac just like this one. I am still actively looking and haven’t found one yet. These caps may come in handy when I find a caddy. I grew up around this car and I’d loved to pass that feeling on to future generations.
