hey everyone, just now i was out running around town, and my mark viii stalled, at all 3 stop lights on the way home..

I had a mark vii that did this and it turned out to be a torque converter issue, so i tried doing the double blip of the throttle trick, but got no result (rpm stayed same no jump) (Dont know if it works on obd-II cars)

Also thinking it could be the IAC, but im not sure.

What are your thoughts?

I had the same issue with my '97 a year or so ago and it ended up being a vacuum leak. The PCV connector hoses had disintigrated. It would run okay driving down the road but when I stopped it would cut off. That may or may not be it. But that happened to me. :)

You're a genius, the crankcase breather broke where it goes into the intake tube, right before the throttle body (next to the air temp sensor), im banking that is the problem (i have it epoxying together now...)
