Hey guys,

My Mark VIII has sat for maybe a month, and it won't start. The Battery is dead, and I tried jumping it with another car, and all the accessories work, but it won't start.

It clicks and looks like the motor wants to turn over, but it's a no go. Any ideas on what I can be?

Get a new battery

If that doesn't work then you have starter problems

I would get a new Battery and start there.
Make sure cables are tight and clean.
The Battery might be too far gone to jump.

I thought you were selling that car......

A bad batter can indeed kill a jump start. You can try jump starting by removing you battery and doing a direct jump from the other cars battery.

Otherwise do as they say and replace the battery since you will likely need new anyway and then the starter most likely.

I did my starter a month or so ago. It went better than I though it would. I had issues and replacing just the starter solenoid was not the solution.

I'd just pull out that battery and put it on a charger overnight... I'll bet it starts right up on it's own after that.
