1989 Continental.
When I put the gear selector in the drive position, I hear a hissing sound under the dash. I'm suspecting that it's the automatic parking brake release mechanism (which has not operated since I've owned the car) as I do not hear it in any other position. Any ideas what is causing this? Maybe a vacuum hose slipped off somewhere? Has anyone had this problem and could possibly give me an idea where to start looking?
