17x5 Spare Tire Wanted

But in my opinion, it would be better to pick up an extra wheel, then put a tire on and run a full size spare rather than try to get a donut spare with their 55MPH/20 mile limitation. They only put those stupid things on as a weight savings measure, not because they're better to use.

Several assumptions prevalent here, not covered by fact comparisons or cost considerations. Paid $100, including shipping for new 17x5 donut spare. Could have used my, never been used, 16x5 donut spare safely @ recommended speed & distance, if ever required.

Correct question: What is it that you require here? Answer: as previously stated; 17x5 emergency, commonly referred to as a "donut" spare tire and rim.

I have one as well. In the Toronto area. Never been used as far as I can tell. I have full sized spare in there now.

Hey, just offering up a suggestion. Most folks might have said thanks but I really want a donut, or just ignored it altogether.
