Haha! That makes more sence. My 245's are bad ass though. Are you running 245's up all around or just out back?

I'm thinking 245/50/16 Cooper Zeon ZPT's....

and after that when I get the gears and converter prolly an MT drag tire...

at least LOOK at the Sumitomo HTR Z tires. They are a great price and the stick great! they have a nice looking tread pattern too if thats what your in to

I'll look at them for sure...... I don't have enough $$'s right now so I won't be buying any tires right now.

The HTR Z's are great and they make a 255/50/16 if your brave.. I wimped out and went with the 245 just to be safe

I'm running 225 Goodyear Eagle GT HR's. This is my 3rd or 4th set of these tires on Mark VIII's. I've tried a lot of tires in my 240,000 miles of Mark VIII driving.

They are not the greatest tire, but they work good for drag launches. That is not the reason I have them...........I don't race that much. Of course I have to dry hop a couple of times until they hook at the track.

My opinion is they are the best tire for the price for this car. There are better tires available, but they cost much more (the original MXV4's were great tires). The worst tire in my experience was the Yokohama Avid V4's. They were horrible (but I've heard they work good in the south on this car).

That crazy temp/atmoshperic condition adjustment above is great!! You matched my Jun-08 time to my Mar-09 time based on a crazy calculation I've never seen. lol So that means I don't need to run 91-Octane gas, change spark plugs ever, or change the fuel filter (the differences between the runs beside atmospheric conditions)!!! :)

You should let Raceway Park know there temp gauges aren't working too!! lol :)

I LOVE my V4's on my Vic... they aren't very good in the winter but what could you expect from an ultra high performance all season?

LMAO Exactly Ken, it was all "in the air" not the mod at all man, the exhaust did nothing.
