06 Sts Disabled Start

I TRY TO START MY CAR WITH THE START BUTTON WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED AND IT SHUTS EVERTHING DOWN THEN AFTER ABOUT 30 SECONDS THE DASH WILL COME BACK ON.ANY IDEAS ON THIS PROBLEM????

have you tried to unhook the battery for 10 minutes, then hook everything back up? could be a computer malfunction. try that first?

I've tried unhooking the batteryand it made no difference but now it shows start disabled due to possible theft problem
