My 06' Lincoln LS (121,000 mi) within the last week gets the Check AdvanceTrac message and the red ABS indicator light comes on. They will intermittently kick on and off. I know after this happens, the next time I go to start my engine my battery will be drained. If the lights don't come on during a particular trip, and I shut off the engine, it will start up just fine the next time.
I did replace the cop's and plugs about 5 weeks ago. I did this after car went into ETC failsafe mode. Motorcraft plugs but went cheap on the cop's. She ran well for about 4 weeks, but this last week has been a pain asking strangers for a jump, etc. I've read elsewhere in here a bad cop can cause unexplained instances of problems. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
