05 with stuck driver seat

Driver seat on 05 (heated cooled): it would only recline and went to full recline and is stuck there. Any experience on this? We got the rear seat frame bolts out but front ones are stubborn. We can hear a click from switch when pushed for recline but no click when the switch is pushed for raise. So, the switch is questionable. But, the plastic trim piece across left lower seat w switches wont come off. And the air bag reminder is ominously looming. We cant get to the back of the seat it is all the way back and against rear seat.
Well, thanks for reading all this.. Ideas ?

Did you try unplugging the connector for the motors and applying 12V and ground directly to the recline motor?

We can't get access. We can't get the front seat frame bolts loose and we can't get to the rear of the switches... Stuck. Thanks

I said the motor connector, not the switch connector. Getting to the switch connector really won't help. The motors do not connect to the switches. The switches connect to the driver's seat module, and the driver's seat module connects to the motors. Most likely, a relay has failed in the driver's seat module.
With the seat bottom moved all the way up (if I understand, only the recline function isn't working), you can get to the motor connectors and the DSM connectors. The wires to the recline motor are white with a red stripe, and yellow with a red stripe.
