This has been disucssed not only recently but many times before. The answer to your question, yes it will fit, but no it will not line up where the rear surround meets the trunk. I've seen it done but like in the thread posted above, you can see the surrounds are tapered differently. So it won't look right.

Therefore you will need a gen 2 trunk and tails
