I posted last week about buying a 2006 LS. I was told that was the best year to purchase, less problems. How good is a 2005? Is there problems with that that the 2006 does not have. I was told the coils go bad on the 2006 but that's pretty much the only problem. My brother in law is a mechanic and told me that's not a big deal to fix.
The 2006 owner never got back to me so I gave up. I found a 2005, looks identical except over the front grill, it's beautiful. It's an Ultra, I noticed there's no wood on the dash or the stick. Is that sporty? due to being an Ultra? Is there problems the 2005 will have that the 2006 would not have? Should I hold out for a 2006? The 2005 has the V-8.
