05 Ls center console

I hate the 01 center console the cup holders are 2 close and you can't put 2 big cups in their.

I'm stuck with the '00 flipup holder. I was thinking of removing them and put in a custom holder...being that that's a good space for a holder.

Repete, you could benefit from the console that ken is selling.

TRue, it is a choice. I'm not on the page for the center console change just yet. Either I'm going for sound system w/ Alpine or Kenwood DVD/NAV system or putting on the Razzi body kit, Corsa exhaust system, and then repaint the entire car, especially over the chrome accents on the front bumper...and dark out the side markers...

....but anyways we'll see....and I'll take a look at ken's console again...

Yea thats what I am going to do. Im going to fiberglass the 05 cupholders into the 01 console I will have pics up on. Does anyone have or now ofsme one selling the 03 to 05 center console?

You could just remove the cup holder area and fiberglass your own ideas for cup holders.


Seriously check out that site, it has lots of good info and lots of good tips for fiber glass interior components and speaker box's.

I am looking at replacing the black climate control, radio and vents out of my 2000 for the silver 2003-2006. Has anybody done this or painted theres silver. Curious as to what it will look like.

I think that the buttons are different on the gen II climate control.

yes but i will be switching the faceplates and the one button for the heated wiper strip

The release for the 2nd Gen LS's center console armrest is split into two parts; one releases it so it'll swing up for access to the storage bin; the other allows the armrest to slide forward. Of course, when it slides forward, it covers the aft cupholder, rendering it useful only for small things (I usually put my iPhone there).

haha i always put my iphone on the smaller hole.
