'04 Headlight question

Hello all, my new LS has what i thought were dull, oxidized headlights but after looking at them with the lights on, has factory HID, it all most looks like they are cracked in a billion tiny pieces! (they are not cracked) Has anyone seen this effect before? I have used the sand and clear method in the past but i'm not sure if this is my problem.

My old lights had what seemed to be tiny little cracks within the lense... Like deep, not surface.

My brand new ones have yet to show these signs.

Ok. One person, thanks for that. Still can't determin if this is surface or in the pastic!

Any pictures? It is likely just surface cracking of the clear coat on the lenses. It will buff out.
