03+ DVD Nav Faceplate

Just wondering if anyone has used this in a 00-02 LS to install a Double Din stereo, and if so, what did you use to dye it??? I'm trying to figure out how to go about making it black without using a paint that is going to flake or something.

It's already mounted to the head unit, and I just need to order the wiring harness and then I'll be ready to toss it in the car. I just won't want to do it until the faceplate is black.

It might work better longer if you actually install it in the dash and hook it up...

I know, I'm taking my dear sweet time with this project. If the dang car wasn't in the shop though........
