02LSE vs. G35x

1 thing to point out,... you can buy the most reliable car in the industry but if you buy it used you have a 50/50 of it becoming the least reliable car you have owned.

I've never seen a bunch of guys get so butthurt when they hear something negative about their car. I didnt start out bad mouthing anything. I was poking fun at his "not to make excuses" comment because it sounds like something you hear honda drivers say. And I think it's pretty well established that the Japs and Germans are making all American cars look bad right now. It seems to me that most new members come on here thinking that having a V8 automatically means they rule the streets. Like I said before, the LS is a great all around car but masters at absolutely nothing.

I only bring up reliability issues when someone says something about that first. When someone joins up to ask for opinions on the LS, I give them one. To me, no it isn't at all a reliable car compared to most other cars out there. I'm not saying this is solely reliability, but there is a reason Ford decided to stop making the LS. They continue the Navigator, Town Car, and had a long run for the Marks but for some reason, not the LS. There is also a reason for it having resale value that falls like a brick. Why is that? I really dont base reliability opinions off of my own car. I've had other cars break down more than the LS but I thought they were very reliable cars. I purposely beat the hell out of the LS on numerous occasions just to put it in the shop to spite the dealership. I base my opinion off of what numerous Ford mechanics, consumer report magazines, and what other non-forum going members have told me.

I never made fun of anyone for winning or losing a race against someone else. I, like a lot of others, call BS on something or want to see proof, but when did I rip on anyone for racing their LS? Maybe it's me but I see the LS as a serious niche car (which is why I can see you guys being oh so upset) just like the Mark is now. The Mark, compared to the LS has way more aftermarket though so I don't see any of you keeping your car for another 10 years which if you really loved this car so much and were such LS enthusiasts, then you would.

Last time I checked this was LincolnVSCadillac. If you can't stand having a GM owner on here then I'll gladly pack up and leave like most others seem to do.

Whos butthurt? Not me.

You sound a little butthurt.

I never claimed my car to be some bad azz piece of machinery nor king of the streets.

I was sharing how it held up to a newer sports sedan that has more power and respectable performance. Some people may have liked the read, some could care less.

You like to jab...then call crybaby when I doubt anyones really crying.

I find your posts funny, I believe I said that already.

Someone pointing out you could probably just not bother posting in a thread such of this if your intention is to nay say or just rag on the LS. But your welcome to in my threads.

Just don't get butthurt if a few tell you different than what you think is right.

:)

We all have our opinions. A forum last time I checked is a place to share those.

I never said anything about your personal car. Yours and "snake bordin" are my two favorite LS'.

I'm not butthurt at all since I don't own an LS. I think a select few don't like people ragging on their personal preference of car just like me. I'd get defensive too just like I did in the one thread with Quik and a lot of others about FMC Vs. GM a while back. It never got ugly.

My whole point was that it's just disappointing all of the cars that keep coming out and ousting GM Chrysler and Ford's V8 muscle in general. Maybe it was the appropriate subject for this particular thread but I had a good read of your first post regardless and I'm always happy to see American cars hold their own.
