02 LS question

Question, while looking around underneath my car I saw what looked to be a place to put a lower engine cover on the car, is there one that is supposed to be underneath the engine of the car, if so where can I pick one up for a decent price.

V8 or V6?
You'd have to take a picture. There are three splash shields under there, but I wouldn't call any of them a "lower engine cover" like BMW has.
