02 center console

ok guys, Im goin to buy a 02 center console problem is the one I'm getting didnt have the SST , now I'm not sure if it matters maybe they cut that a little bigger near the shifter or if its all the same crap SST or no SST

I have a 2000 console right now so its about Time that goes to hell LOL

u don't need the gear select. just the surroundings, entire console.

I think its the same I did a SST swap and it fit fine.

It's the same... direct swap, same opening by the gear select as the SST one.

oh by the way, how would i get this off, for the first time, i want to do something on my own, i always ask a buddy to do it for me like i'm some kind of moron lol ..

so .. does it just snap off ? I knda figure its not going to be that easy.

Yep, just pops off. Take out the ashtray, then pop off the woodgrain ashtray surround. Then pull straight up on the front of your console (closest to ashtray). The console is just held in place with clips. I believe it took me under 2 minutes...

If you want to remove the entire console, it'll take a bit more than that, but the only thing you'll need to swap is just the console cover. Just the top piece...
