Hey everybody , was looking at a 01 LS with 84K miles, when i ran the carfax, 2001 LINCOLN LS (1LNHM87A71Y620248) , it shows that it was in alot for electrical system serviced...is it something you would stay away from and about a month ago it says service contract claim, steering/suspenion checked, u think that means it was fixed or thats why they got rid of it...hope this makes sense...its from a dealer so he has no info...
Thanks

There's a big problem with the '01 ball joints, so if they heard a thunking noise while going over bumps, they may have had it checked out. If they didn't get it fixed, your looking at a few hundred dollars to fix per side. Electrical service could really be anything. If they had a fogging headlight replaced (also a problem on '00-'02 LS's), it would probably come up "Electrical System serviced." Your best bet would be to print the carfax and talk to the owner to see if he keeps the invoices for any service or repairs that were done. Good luck and hope to see you back.
