2001 Lincoln ls saved it from the scrap yard, fixed the coolant leaks and now trying to resolve the fueling/hard starting issues. If the car sits overnight it will start right up but. If it sits for an hour or so it will crank and crank about 5-6 seconds before starting and it will smell very strong of raw fuel/ car smells rich while running. So far I have replaced: fuel pump and filter, fuel rail pressure sensor (fixed the code for that) pulled all fuel injectors ultrasonic cleaned and tested them all and worked fine not leaking, new spark plugs, cleaned IAC and MAF. All to no avail car still has the same starting issues… running while using forscan there are no misfires and fuel pressure reads within range cranking and while running. There are no codes currently issue is so consistent it makes me think a bad sensor but without a codes showing I’m at a loss. Any ideas appreciated!
