getting an xcal3 next week..any tips..which software should I have him load?
My good friend owns a shop and I"m getting an xcal3 from him next week for my 98 LSC. I've never used one before...while he says he has "all" software for it, I don't plan at least yet to write my own tunes. I should have my choice of what I want him to load onto it... I've got a stock...- v8only

Why are the Gen 1's faster...what's required of my Gen2 to make it as quick?
A search didn't net me much results...I read that it's the gen 2 tune pulling timing...the gen 1 has a better intake..etc etc. Can anyone confirm for sure what it is? What i'd need to get my 98 up to par?? How much quicker are the earlier models?- v8only
