I didn't get a CEL. I reset the battery and drove it home and the tranny light never came on but the ETC FAILSAFE message came on and the car died when I pulled out of my in-laws driveway.

Just changed my fronts at 55,000. They were pretty good but the driver side was all but gone. Both rotors were ridged too. Next time I'm replacing with better rotors and ceramic pads.

Pretty durable. I used auto body clear coat so it's the same as the paint job on the outside, as far as protection.
