I was looking through one of my mustangs mags and stumbled across this. I would call to see if it fits on a 5r55n. They also give the name of a company that makes a deep tranny pan that holds more fluid (has drain plug and small cooling fins) -dom
hey quick,
is their any way to fab up or buy a head gasket that is a little taller than stock?
If so, this could possibly help you get your compression down to a safer level. I don't even know if they exsist. just a suggestion.
Carbon fiber would look tight on an LS. But I heard they crack and can shatter after a while. A friend of mine has an IS300 with a full body kit and hood made out of cf. He told me that you have to put hood pins in, and this will cause it to not crack or shatter.
carbon fiber trunk and...
00_slow_5spd_ls,
I think if you have a lucky rabbits foot you should grab it. Because the way I figure is most manufactures are to cheap to change their designs for products because it will cost them extra money. If they use the same coil for the crown vic, mustang, and let say something...
maybe if you (or anyone) ask someone who works at a ford dealership like one of their mechanics. I live in south florida and am convinced that every dealership is trying to rip you off. They'd probably not even listen to the question and tell me to bring the car in. Or just say "i dont know"...
I dont own one. Im doing the general public a favor and finding parts for the LS. This way when I hopfully own it the aftermarket will be better. Their bad ass cars, but nobody is giving them a real shot.
on the website it show the whole coil assembly, or just the section from the coil to the plug. I think you can buy half of it if you want.
I know you guys have discussed about these, but im sure they will probably not work.

its for a mustang 05-06, but they might have more on the website. I was searching through a ford mag and stumbled on it.
Realistically, they will probably not have it for the LS. Unless the mustang and the LS use the same kind, it will probably need slight modification.
I was searching around in a ford magazine and ran into these babies.
Anybody think it will work?
It says that it gave a mustang a 12hp increase  who knows

Does anyone know where to find an LSE bodykit for a +03? I used the search bar and found something with a guy who sells them for $500, is that ligit or a hoax? If their are no kits could a 00-02 fit?

because if you are, you've got my vote. I believe you know what you are talking about.
Does anybody think that these will fit on a +03 LS v8. Their for a volvo but the same lug pattern. If I were to get them I'd probably put a 255 or 265 in the rear and a 235-245 in the front.
I've read previous threads that say you can fit up to a 255-265 in the rear.
But some people say that...
