I don't know how they make any money at that price but lucky for you they didn't know any better. at 37.50 an hour your starter was free!

They are right
You will need to find the wires from the old system that go to the amp and remove them and then conect them directly to the speakers. If you are not using the factory amp you will need to find all your wires and take the time to tag where they ALL go, then it will be easier to...

Me too! Fan is starting to make Low pitch hum...
My fan is starting to make Low pitch hum but only at hight speeds. not loud, but just seem to be there in the backgroung. I will look in to this soon too.
I don't do much in the winter myself, to cold in Canada. But spring is comming!
Sounds Nice !!
Did you try just removing the resonator first. If so what did it sound like?
Was it a big job doing the mufflers too (pipe bending? or bolt on), spring is comming in Canada and its time to start thinking of working on the daily ride again.
You can kik it now and then, and it will like it!
I have a 2002 STS, and does need a little more service than a regular sadan, but its a lot more car. I love it, if it was stolen, i would go out and buy another one tommorow, maybe Black this time.
Repair Bulletin ?
Do you know if this bulletin is on line, or is it clear on what needs to be done?
I still seem to get a little dampness, but nothing like before I did the lid seal, I'm starting to think about the sunroof drain ... If I find anything else I will post it.
