I'm going to be doing my brakes this week and have a quick question before I get started. The tool used for the rear brakes . . . is this the same tool used on the Ford Taurus SHO's or is it something else? A picture of the tool required would be very helpful if some one could provide. Thanks

OK, I have done my VC gaskets (were leaking), replaced my spark plugs, have no CEL but car still seems to misfire!!!:mad: I guess I am going to have to replace all the coils since I am not throwing a code (scanned twice!). Has anyone else ran into this? I would hate to be replacing perfectly...

To all who have done valve covers themselves . . . Anyone put any extra type of sealents on the gaskets? (I know I'm supposed to use some near the timing cover)

Had a problem with LS, no CEL, all gauges normal and car was lacking power/acceleration. It doesn't feel like a misfire/plug/coil. Car still idles smooth, starts easy, good milage. Thought it was fuel filter . . . replaced thought problem was gone and now appears to be back. I don't notice there...

From reading a bunch of posts on here it appears a lot of folk are having trouble ie; stumbling, rough idle/acceleration but no CEL. Also a possible solution to this problem is replacing the fuel filter. Could some one who has done it themselves post the DIY steps. That could really help some...

Does anyone know where I can get a quality white face gauge panel . . . I don't want one that turns a bunch of different colors or have to wire in some stupid switch to make it the color I want. All I want is the white face and I don't want the switch or all those pretty colors. LOL Little help...

What is the difference between the Xcalibration and Xcalibration2? Do they come unprogrammed from the dealer? Does it have to be retuned if I buy it used? If so, how do I accomplish this? This type of tuner/flaher is new to me.
