I'd buy a STS before I'd buy a continental....IMHO of course...I have always preferred the N*, but I got such a good deal on the Lincoln I couldn't pass it up...
I have a '97 Continental I would offer....but I am most likely too far away, although I would trust my car to drive anywhere...if by chance you are interested, LMK
I am curious as to what tire size y'all are running...I have my eye on a set of rims and I am thinking about running a 245/45/18 tire, but I am not sure if I will have problems with the fit....any input/experience is appreciated
I have seen a couple of threads on here about removing the air silencer but none of the threads so any pics or give the location of the said silencer. If anyone can post pics and the process for removing the silencer I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
my car was acting crazy when I had an ABS problem...under WOT the car would bog one time, the slip the next, the act like it should once it a while....once I fixed the ABS issue the car shifts just like it should...
it has nothing to do with being an ass...it is just the nature of the beast....If I were to come on here and claim my continental was rocking 400hp, people are going to ask to see a dyno slip to back it up......
hey, if you produce the sales slip with that price, I am more then willing to issue you an apology and admit that I was wrong in my assumption....
FWIW: nice work on those boxes
I am considering adding driving lights to my '97 but I am unsure if I will like the final outcome. Does anyone have any pics of this style continentals with driving lights installed???
pepperman: you have a very good point, I don't know for sure, but my BS meter is really going off (see above)....maybe she should post up the sales invoice and the dealership paperwork with a total of $1700 out the door and prove me wrong....it is a nice car, I just don't believe the story...
