Got a Superchips 1725, tried to run it, says it needs an update? From what i've seen, I was under the impression it should have a preloaded tune. Am I missing something?

Had a minor run in with a deer, so installed a new (used) bumper. Painted the top of the grille body color while I was at it.

Cheap diy heat shield? Hopefully it's far enough from heat to not melt lol

Also if anybody's curious I used a 2V 4.6 Mustang intake adapter to add my air filter!

It definitely doesn't seem to flex as much now. I'm sure glad it turned out well, cause I had to grind off the mounting bolts for the factory one!

I technically did this yesterday but whatever. It's a shock tower brace from my subaru I made work! Not perfect but better than the factory thing that stripped out when I had previously tried to tighten it. Holds with two of the three bolts. Also I live on dirt so my engine is dirty.

Looking into the archives on this website it appears I can do what I want with a superchips 1725, anyone selling one?

Hey yall! Sorry if I sound like a newbie,(I am), but I was curious what options I could do for increased throttle response/acceleration on my 2001 continental. I'd like to get an SCT tuner and tweak it that way, but idk if that works without adding a tune first. If that doesn't work I may do one...
