Replaced it for $10. Found it in a junkyard on a 2003 Explorer. Since it was mounted high and dry under the hood and not under the driver’s side front fender it worked. Numbers did not match, used cable from original, connector matched perfectly. Added silicone sealant to the throttle cable...
Thanks to all who have shared. Working on a 2000 LS with the 3.9 and 200,000 miles. On start up and when stationary, fumes from a leaking EGR valve entered the interior. Cause was corroded bolts. Replaced them and a new gasket, we breathe easier. Hope this proves helpful.
