With recent repairs, system won't bleed.

I have the Motorcraft thermostat housing as well, Ill just have to order the thermostat that you build into it, in order to use it. I had to order the thermostat or I would of used it in the first place, and ford won't take it back because I "opened the box". And I had taken the throttle body...

With recent repairs, system won't bleed.

The assembly is motorcraft, the thermostat housing is dorman. And I had to take off both of those to put the correct gasket on to seal the connection between the assembly and water outlet pipe behind them. It didn't seal at all at first, that's when I realized it was wrong and swapped them out...

With recent repairs, system won't bleed.

Yes, its supposed to be a rounded ring (looks like a rubber hair tie) and they had given me a flat circle one like the thermostat housing. And it had to have been replaced recently, it was in really good shape, and didn't have the stock bolts the rest of the parts I've seen that were stock have...

Ok, I'm assuming the upper radiator hose? And my system has been drawing in air since I bought the car, but the heater air bleed always worked properly, I just had to do it once every week or two.

With recent repairs, system won't bleed.

Well, now that you said that, I had hell trying to get the water inlet center price to seal properly, and come to find out they had sold me the wrong gasket, so I had to pull it apart for a 3rd time to put that in, and used Red RTV (by recommendation) allowed it to sit the full 12 hours, and...

05 Lincoln ls v8 3.9l Sport. Everything is acting normal, the degas bottle is draining into the system when the car is running, other then that how do I know if it's pressurizing right? And Motorcraft on everything except the thermostat housing.

With recent repairs, system won't bleed.

I've recently just swapped out the Degas Bottle, Thermostat housing, the water inlet connection (connects with thermo housing) as well as some unrelated parts (coils/brakes/belt). I flushed the system from some cheap generic green coolant and am using the Motorcraft gold (I made sure to...

    Flooded alternator or Fuse/Wiring/Sensor?

Thanks man, helps alot! And id like to get a nice one to have and well, I have extra money right now, but this car hasn't been simple this far, so I'm assuming I'm gonna have to buy more then just an alternator/battery, which is already 300$ together lol

    Flooded alternator or Fuse/Wiring/Sensor?

Well my bad, was clarifying my Erie statement, and I don't have access to any of the electric testers, so those test/diagnoses call for to be able to read the voltage. So for now I can start disassembling it, or see if there's anything specific I need you look out for that would point me in the...

    Flooded alternator or Fuse/Wiring/Sensor?

Maybe I should be more descriptive, about a"puddle", it's flat here, so there's drainage lines/ditched that run along the streets and through intersections, I was turning right at 20ish, and hit where two of these meet, so I'm assuming the water was shin-knee high. I also don't have a...

    Flooded alternator or Fuse/Wiring/Sensor?

I was driving yesterday and hit a pretty big puddle, which is common here(8"-1' deep) and it splashed up the front right of my car, couple minutes later I notice the car is telling me to "Check Charging System", and starts shutting stuff off 1 by 1, TracControl/ABS - Radio -> Dash lights ->...

    Couple different questions.

Yea, that's the part they said ford discontinued that I had to order aftermarket. My original URH connection for the heater inlet hose was straight downwards and had 3 little lips on it, and was approx 1 inch downwards, the new one has a 45 degree angle (towards front right tire) is approx 2...

    Couple different questions.

The original hose was the same size at the both ends, but the new Upper Rad Hose had a 1 inch connection in the bottom, so it didn't seen that much bigger when comparing the two but it won't fit, it started ripping the hose before it would ever pass the lip. The hose O'Reilly /Ford said I need...

    Couple different questions.

They couldn't give me a part # since it was discontinued, and O'Reillys had to special order an aftermarket one which would of taken 5-7 days with a 10$ freight charge and the car was stuck on the side of the interstate. So I kind of "southern engineered" it, bought a 1"hose, an adapter that was...
