I have never had a problem on Long Island with all seasons, and I take it to Vermont all winter with all seasons and the LS never gets stuck. Just make sure you have decent tread on the tires.

I went to the local junker and got a 20k mile spindle for $75 and bolted in on in an hour and a half.

I finally got around to installing the spindle, It was simple with regular hand tools a Jack and some Jack Stands. Took about 1.5 hours. Def. not worth going to the dealer for.

I picked up a spindle from the Junker yesterday with 20k on it for $75 as opposed to fords "updated" pieces that run almost 6x that.

I have them on my 02 5 speed, and there was no problems. I never dropped the car tho.
