PSA- Forscan Lite Not At Google Play Anymore

I have tried several ways to install it. None of them work without giving me an unlicensed version message. I emailed support at Forscan and they replied that Google has stopped authorizing the app. They asked for the account or gpa number to verify the purchase so they can send a license number...

PSA- Forscan Lite Not At Google Play Anymore

So I just got a new phone and went to install Forscan Lite from the Play Store. I could not find it. A Google search brought up this answer: A decision has been made to stop using Google Play Market for a further FORScan Lite distribution. Future versions of the application will be distributed...

    New question

Does it make a difference if the pressure is a little higher? My cap is 16 psi but tested at 18. Just curious how critical the pressure is.

ALL suspension bushings shot - need advice - feel free to make fun of me

For reference I replaced my rear control arms on a 2005 with Moog RK621951 and RK621952. They are listed for THUNDERBIRD 2002-2003 and LINCOLN LS 2000-2002. I compared them side by side and there was no difference that would indicate they wouldn't hold up. The alignment checked out good and...

1999 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL REAR BALL JOINTS

Yes I replaced mine years ago. I don't have the receipts anymore since I don't have the car. IIRC these are the ones I used https://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/moog-k500208 They are not the same as the front.

Definitive GEN 2 Cooling System Thread

I've gotten to the point where I feel I can't put it off any longer. Even though I am not overheating I am loosing enough coolant that I have to top it off every week or two. The biggest problem is the smell I am getting. I don't know if I am burning it off the motor or it is getting the...

    California Catalytic Converter

I don't think this is entirely correct. I have a Pacifica that I had a universal CA compliant converter installed. The location and orientation of the oxygen sensors must not change. In order to do this they had to weld it in with the serial numbers up. It has passed smog twice now. I think as...

    Death Rattle

Motorcraft filter? Not sure if the filter has an anti drainback valve or not on this car. When I had the 99 Continental I started using Motorcraft only because of longer noisy starts from the others.

    RPM surge when slowing down

That's what I was thinking only not in that detail. It is running better but still I have a bad smell like something is burning. I changed all of the idlers and the tensioner and the other components all spin freely and easily. It is a mystery to me. I think I may change the fluid in the power...

    RPM surge when slowing down

I've struggled with harsh shifts since I got my LS. I've changed the fluid, had the ecm serviced, replaced the MAFF. Each thing has improved the shifting for a short time then back to harsh again. The latest thing I've done was address a squealing belt. I noticed that after I sprayed the belt...

Window Regulator Replacement. How-To w/ Pictures.

So it actually got smoother and functioned fine until now. It broke again after a year and a half. This time I changed the regulator. The moral of the story is don't bother with the clips, change the whole thing or you'll be doing it again.

At my wit's end! neutral safety switch

There are plenty here that can empathise with you. I feel the same way too often. When my 05 is running good it drives great and I feel blessed. Most of the time it's one thing or another. Still I feel pretty lucky when I read some of the posts here.

Need Help to Diagnose Overheating Car

I had a thermostat housing fail on me after a couple years. It was Motorcraft. One of the shoulders inside broke off and the thermostat was sideways. Not saying that is your problem but it wouldn't hurt to look at it. You could verify with the cap removed I think?

    AC Issues

Agreed. Some things have to be done right or you will fail or get poor results. I know from experience. I have had my fill of working on AC systems for a lifetime. I even passed on the first LS I looked at because the AC didn't work. By recover I meant to reclaim instead of vent which is...

    AC Issues

I'm not sure I'm the one to help you but I'll chime in. Several years ago I had some AC issues with 2 vehicles. While I thought I needed two new compressors in the end both cases I was wrong. Fixing your own AC can be very frustrating and unrewarding. I found a used dual r12 & 134a recovery/...
