    JOEGR suggested using Permatex 80938 but I couldn't find it local so I am going to try Permatex 85420, has a lot of the same properties as 80938

    Picked up another o-ring and some new sealer. Started with a slight leak that has been leaking more lately. Have replaced all rubber hoses and plastic cooling components.

    Plan now is to replace all plastic now. Are the plastic parts easily available at your local parts store or is it better to order on line. Rubber hoses are going to be replaced also.

    Well replaced the coolant tank and while taking the cap off of the thermostat housing the housing crumble into a few pieces. The Jag aluminum housing is that from the 2002 Jag 4.0 liter?
