Yet another DCCV question
I have an 06 LS V8. Just passed 200,000 miles. Replaced every plastic part I could (or so I thought) 1 year ago. I have a leak in what looks to be the bottom tube/hose of the DCCV (return?). The 3 tubes look to be plastic. The DCCV was replaced at about 100,000...
A front wheel hub puller is what I should have written. My apologies. My point was the tool specified it was for the front wheel but worked for my rear hub as well. Thanks.
I ended up renting a front end puller (who knew?) and it came right off. Didn't have to use a hammer at all. Took assembly to a machine shop shop who removed old bearing and pressed in new bearing for $65.00 while while I waited. Thank you for your help!
Thanks Josh. How much did you cut your wrench down? I'm thinking of tackling it again this weekend. I could feel the bolt up there. But barely. I have very large hands. I'm concerned I still won't be able to get it. But I really appreciate the response.
