Yet another DCCV question I have an 06 LS V8. Just passed 200,000 miles. Replaced every plastic part I could (or so I thought) 1 year ago. I have a leak in what looks to be the bottom tube/hose of the DCCV (return?). The 3 tubes look to be plastic. The DCCV was replaced at about 100,000...

A front wheel hub puller is what I should have written. My apologies. My point was the tool specified it was for the front wheel but worked for my rear hub as well. Thanks.

I ended up renting a front end puller (who knew?) and it came right off. Didn't have to use a hammer at all. Took assembly to a machine shop shop who removed old bearing and pressed in new bearing for $65.00 while while I waited. Thank you for your help!

What did you specifically use to rmove the knuckle/ wheel hub assembly? What did you use to remove the knuckle? Im unsure of what kind of puller?

Thanks Josh. How much did you cut your wrench down? I'm thinking of tackling it again this weekend. I could feel the bolt up there. But barely. I have very large hands. I'm concerned I still won't be able to get it. But I really appreciate the response.

Turns out my alternator was going bad, which caused battery problems. Replaced both and it has been fine ever since. Thanks. Dylmadbry
