Does anyone know where the actuators are? I know on the heater box but do you start on right or left?

2000 ls 3.9 sometimes the climate control will not go to the panel position. Would it most likely be in the climate control head or a actuator on the heater box? I have never been able to get a code out of the climate control.

Fixed it. Since the car was apart a long period, I had to bleed the system 4 times to get all the air out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that is the overheat issue. How do you test the DCCV? i only have one power wire( red) at the plug.

Here is the back story. 2000 LS 3.9. Bought as a basket case. Missing everything on front of motor. Problem now is no heat after bleeding and it will run half way on the temputature gauge for a week and then overheat! I dont think the hoses are on wrong at the control valve. One is marked with...

Here's how i did it. Cut chain. Removed old tensioner. Rotate cam 2-3 teetn. Work new tensioner in place. Replace chain with master link type.

I checked with the dealer and he confirmed it is a temperature sender. But still do not know what it controls( fan or computor)

Finishing up a basket case 2000 LS 3.9. There is a oil sender next to the filter( I assume its a temputare sender) My question is where does the sender harness come from and is it for the cooling fan? Thanks

I never removed the exhaust cam or srocket. I rotated the exhaust gear two teeth, then worked the tensioner in and then rotated it back to flat.

I just replaced the secondary chain and tensioner without the tools. I marked the cams in several spots to make sure it was lined up 100 percent. With alot on messing, you can install a new tensioner without removing the cam gear.
