Thanks I agree. I really wanted the white bullitts though and I didn't find any other ones (and there are). The gray Bullits have snow tires and the tire size is just a set that I bought used and were close in size.

These are the 17x9 bullitts with 24mm offset and 275/40/17. There was a slight rub and I trimmed the fender about half an inch and the rub went away. But the speedo was off. so I went to the 255/50/17's and because of the larger diameter, not only was the rub back, but now the front would rub...

So the battery finally crapped out and I replaced it with an 850 CCA battery and IT WORKED!!! The bigger battery got rid of the check head lamp notice when I start with the auto lamps on. Just an FYI.

They looked similar back in the day, too. Personally I thought the side windows should have a touch of 80's to make it a little more unique.

I contacted Performance Automatic and they do not either. i haven't found anyone that does.

Edit - The Adrenalin went to production with a 4.6L 3v and a 6R transmission!

Thanks for the link, i may run this by their local expert. What i'm proposing is actually the opposite of what they are. I'm proposing keeping the oringal PCM and changing the engine side cal in the PCM.

I thought about that route too. I like the idea but it adds a couple thousand and a lot of complexity for as you said, about the same power. the potential for NA power adders is greater though.

So I'd love to put a 6r80 in the Mark VIII. Of course the problem is getting a PCM to control the trans and interact with the engine. Here's my thought. I know the 6R80 came with the 08-10 Explorers and Mountaineers that used a 4.6L 3v. I would imagne it would have all the correct drivers for...

It's a second gen '97 with the changer in the trunk, but I'd like to replace it with an in dash Ford OEM CD player or changer from an Explorer, Exped, etc. Just curious what's plug and play and what's not. I've heard around 05 they started using CAN on the head units so those don't work at...
