I just want a torquey street motor, I am not looking to drag race, maybe some future autocross or road racing. But mostly a dd. It will also be my first rebuild, and want to stay away from strokers to keep costs lower.
I have an 89 Mark VII, I plan on a swap, I know that the 351w would be an easier, and cheaper, but I think that the big block 429/460 swap would have be the most fun. I wanted to see what other people thought.
I have a question about a fuel issue in my 1989 LSC. If I have under a half tank of fuel it will stutter and die on a sharp left turn. I can take a right turn sharply and the car responds find. This has been a constant problem and has proven dangerous at times. What could be causing this?
Thanks
Do you have any pictures of the bumpers, I am very interested in how this will look, especially the head lights. I have contemplated using 97 town car head lights and grafting them to my Mark VII.
I already own this car and my interior, including the dash, are completely trashed. So I am doing the swap, I am going to have both cars side by side in the garage and swap the parts out.
I have recently bought a '92 Mark VII SE that a friend of mine totaled. I am going to swap the interior into my '89 LSC. What sort of problem should I look for.?
Also I have the entire car minus the engine and trans, what other parts should I pull from it? Thanks
We finally started stripping parts of my Mark to prepare for the repaint. We only work for an hour a day in my high schools body class so progress is slow.
hi, this is my first post. I have an 89 Mark VII and am currently enrolled in a body class in high school and was wondering what anyone though of Wild Strawberry for the repaint
